Get ready to draw, colour, create and have FUN!
In this exciting drawing class, young artists will learn how to create fun, colourful and imaginative cartoon-style drawings while experimenting with a variety of awesome art materials. Each week brings a brand-new project — from funny characters and cute creatures to magical worlds, crazy food, monsters and more! Kids will learn how to turn simple shapes into expressive characters, add personality and detail, and make their artwork pop with colour. Along the way, they'll explore markers, coloured pencils, oil pastels, pencils and mixed media, discovering different ways to blend, layer, shade, outline and add texture. Kids will be encouraged to add their own ideas and personality to every project, so everyone's artwork will be completely unique. Designed for ages 7–13, the class is suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced young artists. Projects are taught using a multi-level approach, so every child can work at a level that challenges them without taking away the fun.
