OAS 60th Anniversary Show & Celebration
“Connections” – Oct 25 to Dec 5, 2025
In celebration of Oakville Art Society’s 60th anniversary year, we presented “Connections,” a first-time collaboration between OAS and Oakville Museum. The venue was the Main Gallery at Queen Elizabeth Park Community & Cultural Centre.
Our exhibition was a vibrant celebration of local talent and history – our artists’ creativity meeting Oakville’s history. Artwork created by OAS members was displayed alongside carefully selected pieces from Oakville Museum’s costume and textile collection, offering an intriguing sense of the scenes and subjects captured in the paintings. Pairing these two forms of expression allowed visitors to explore the intersection of artistic vision and historical fashions and craftsmanship.

Big news! Oakville Art Society is pleased to announce the receipt of a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Government of Ontario. The grant allowed us to pave our parking lot and make several interior improvements. Please join us on Sunday, September 27th, 2026 at 1:00 pm to celebrate the improvements along with several special guests.
