Classes & Workshops

Some SPRING CLASSES are still open for registration.

Please NOTE: We decide ONE WEEK before any program’s start date if it will run, so don’t wait to register.

Our SUMMER planning is well underway. Programs for all ages will be listed by May 1st.

Before Registering

1. When you register for any program online,  a confirmation will be emailed to you
2. We determine if there are enough people registered to run any program six days prior to the start date (so please register before then to increase the likelihood that a program will go ahead).
3. Adult classes are suitable for any artist who is capable of the skills and focus appropriate for any program.
4. Adult students generally provide their own supplies and plastic tablecloths (readily available at the $ store).
5. Please note that NO turpentine/linseed oil based solvents will be permitted. Oil painters must clean their brushes with vegetable oil or soap & water. Alternately, water-based oil paints are available at all art suppliers.
6. Start dates may be subject to change.
7. All students have the right to learn in a positive and creative environment. In extreme cases, the program coordinator reserves the right to delist a student from any program.
8. OAS does not offer make-up classes for students who are unable to attend scheduled programs.
9. Payment must accompany registration. You may pay for your classes and workshops through our secure payment gateway. These are secured transactions and your credit card information is never stored. Payment may also be arranged through e-transfer or direct credit card link. We are also happy to help you in our office, or over the phone.
