If we didn’t want to practice what she had just shown it was never and issue, she just wanted us all to do whatever interested us. She actively encouraged experimentation. It was an inspired touch for Carolyn to push all the desks together so we were all sitting facing each other which led to all of us chatting, collaborating and being inspired by each other. The course has made gell printing one of my favourite ways to make art, such a nice change from drawing or painting.”
