Description

Level 1
Instructor: Greg Douglas
Wednesday mornings, 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Studio One)

This class is 6 weeks and runs Jan. 21 – Feb. 25 (makeup class will take place Mar. 4  in the event OAS must cancel a class).

OAS is thrilled to welcome Greg back to OAS and celebrate his recent retirement from his “day” job.  Hopefully, we will see a lot more of Greg from now on!

His work is exquisite. His manner is calm and gentle. His experience spans all ages.

You can read a bit about him and his work in this piece from The Spectator.

Here is what some of his OAS students have said:

I took a four-week course on collage with Greg Douglas.  I learned so much and I think this was the most fun I’ve ever had in an art class!  Greg is a fabulous artist and instructor, and was very generous with praise, encouragement and ideas to improve our art while not dictating what to do.  I would definitely take a class with Greg again.

“I feel Greg Douglas is an excellent teacher and his pastels are certainly worth the time.  He showed us quite a few ways in which to use them and mix them with other medias as well.”

“Greg did an excellent job, I thoroughly enjoyed the course. I can only be amazed at his skills.”
