This workshop takes place over three consecutive dates: Friday, June 27 (9:30 am-12:30 pm), Saturday, June 28 (1:30 – 4:30 pm), and Sunday, June 29 (7:30-10:30 pm). * These hours will capture the full variety of light conditions. *
Location: Bronte Beach Park, 35 West River Street Oakville (meet in the parking lot). This program is designed for traditional oil, water soluble oils and acrylics.
This workshop will guide participants through the process of outdoor painting. From how to choose a subject, to capturing its essence, Peter will demonstrate the techniques that will allow you to convey your intended message through an impactful and engaging painting. Much more than an unstructured, unguided, Plein Air outing, Peter’s daily demonstrations and individual attention throughout the three sessions will grow your skills and enhance your technique. You will learn to manage the evolving morning, afternoon, and evening / nocturnal natural light over the course of these sessions, regardless of the weather.
