Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint our wild friends, but haven’t been sure where to start? This is the class for you! In the 6-week class, Megan will teach you to paint animal portraits from beginning to end. Learn the basics of painting with acrylic, while practicing with a focus on capturing the spark of life within each animal. The first part will cover the basics — preparing and sketching the composition while paying attention to proportion, breaking down the image to digestible pieces. The next piece will be selected by the class, and provide great practice to build on these skills. Finally, you’ll choose your own inspiration image, and Megan will provide individual support as your selection takes shape. What will you choose? A bear, a bird, a snake… your pet? The possibilities are endless, and the outcomes… priceless!
