Discover the Double Primary Palette system (also known as the Split-Primary Palette) in order to gain control over the mystery of creating the colours you want to use for your practice. This four week beginner course provides the training to gain colour mixing proficiency in everything from warm and cool colours, through hue, saturation, and luminescence. In this brief class series, you will learn through a series of exercises. You will paint a variety of 2, 3, and 6 colour gradients, and ultimately full colour wheels in your chosen colour palette. Palette paint choices will be explored, and the colour mixing dynamics of each participant’s current palette will become clear. In just a matter of a few weeks, you’ll be ready to choose, create, and control colour in your practice. The instructor will work in watercolour, but all mediums are welcome.
