Join Barbara as you explore a looser, more impressionistic approach to oil painting for beginners. Barbara will guide you as you learn how to start your paintings, how to use your paint and brushes, and recognize shape and value in a composition. She will also touch on colour relationships and composition which play an important role in conveying a strong visual statement. Expect to play with a variety of colours and colour relationships in the palettes of the great impressionists. Lots of individual attention will guide you as you start your journey of painting in an impressionistic style. Note: This is also an ideal class for anyone who has taken one of Barbara’s earlier beginner classes as there will be all new subject matter and she will build on her previous lessons.
