In this Sunday afternoon workshop, participants who love form and texture will receive step-by-step instruction and hands on practice in the use of water-soluble fabric to create 3D objects. The 3D objects will be created using various types of threads, scraps of fabric, ribbon, and any other types of fibre or fabric the participants may want to experiment with during the workshop. An instructional handout will be provided to ensure you may replicate this and continue to play with this new technique at home. Many materials are included, but you can add your own special touches using bits of things to add an even more personal touch to your pieces. (See below.)

About the artist:

Kat has been stitching since her early teens and is mostly self taught.  Crocheting and knitting have been a big part of her fibre journey. In recent years, her fibre art has been influenced by a number of classes and workshops with some notable fibre artists, such as Sue Stone and Meredith Woolnough.  With the addition of painting and mark making, her fibre art is now branching out in a new and exciting direction.
