OAS 60th Anniversary Show & Celebration
“Connections”
In celebration of Oakville Art Society’s 60th anniversary year, we are presenting “Connections,” a first-time collaboration between OAS and Oakville Museum. The venue is the Main Gallery at Queen Elizabeth Park Community & Cultural Centre for three weeks from October 25 – November 14, 2025.
Our exhibition is a vibrant celebration of local talent and history – our artists’ creativity meets Oakville’s history. Each artwork celebrates our theme, in landscape, still life, portraiture or abstract form. Artwork created by OAS members is displayed alongside carefully selected pieces from Oakville Museum’s costume and textile collection, offering an intriguing sense of the scenes and subjects captured in the paintings. Pairing these two forms of expression allows visitors to explore the intersection of artistic vision and historical fashions and craftsmanship.

Interpreting our theme, “Connections”
For 60 years, Oakville Art Society has been bringing community members together to share ideas, learn and enjoy other artists’ company. Over the years many friendships and shared experiences have enriched the lives of members. Our anniversary is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the connections we’ve made and continue to make.
Show Dates: Saturday, October 25 to Friday, November 14, 2025.
Main Gallery Hours: Monday – Friday, Noon – 8:00 pm; Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Big news! Oakville Art Society is pleased to announce the receipt of a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Government of Ontario. This will bring exciting improvements to both the interior and exterior of OAS. More details will be shared soon about the Ontario Trillium grant’s upcoming impact on OAS’ future.
