The beauty of nature comes in many forms. This course is an opportunity to create artwork inspired by an element of the natural world. First is a landscape, where you will learn to depict depth, play with light and colour, and create a space to get lost in. Next is an animal; learn to tackle an animal painting using colour, brushstrokes and shadow to infuse life into a furry creature. Lastly, learn how to use shape and composition to paint a botanical that jumps from the canvas. Each painting will include step-by-step instructor demos, as well as plenty of one-on-one assistance.
