She provided her own drawings ready for each student to choose one in an assortment of choices, so fascinating for any nature lover. Her demos are beautiful paintings in the making, plus she has good suggestions as questions come up. This class was very enjoyable and informative at any level. Lindsay Pearson Artist Statement:
Based in Oakville, Lindsay is an illustrator and 2D artist with experience in both traditional and digital media. Being detail oriented with a passion for storytelling, she draws inspiration from folklore and fairy tales, as well as nature, to create scientific style illustrations, imaginative environments, and whimsical creatures.
“A lot of what inspires me comes from the desire to create a sense of wonder and whimsy. I feel that as we grow up, things tend to lose the magic they once had when we were little. I want to keep that magic and imagination alive and inspire that in others with my work.”
