“I absolutely love the idea of these late fall classes.. they help to keep a student painting with intent. Barbara’s mentoring was probably the best I’ve ever had (along with Robin Mitchell). She is prepared for every class. She exhibits a thorough knowledge of art, mediums,  techniques, and thus is able to assist students no matter what ability or style of painting evoked. I like her quick assessment of what can improve a canvas, her positive energy and encouragement. She follows up after providing feedback.  I hope she will offer another session like this soon. The class loved her!”

Her background in Art and Art History is teamed with her experience in adult learning which provides ground for a deep connection with her students.
