Another first for OAS! This course is great for beginners and seasoned artists looking to develop new styles. From little hummingbirds, to soaring eagles, choose a bird to highlight into a stunning mosaic work of art. Before mosaic application, participants will explore various methods of transferring images onto their substrates. You are invited to bring an image to work with, or choose one from Elena’s collection. We will work with cutting tools, and experiment with a wide range of materials, like stained glass, and ceramic in many forms. Mixed media such as decoupage, acrylic stamping, and paper collage techniques will be introduced to complete the background. We hope you can join this creative adventure! You will take home a beautiful 13″x13″ piece at the end of the course that you will cherish.

With a background as an Expressive Art Therapist, Elena embraces a calm tempo in her classes, allowing each student to develop and discover their own creativity and approach to creating.
