Art in the Park

Oakville Art Society's Art in the Park

Promoting Artists and Artisans Since 1965

In 1965 the Society created Art in the Park to promote local artists and artisans, and today this show has blossomed into Oakville’s premiere art event with artists and artisans from across the country. This show boasts only original work where artists are chosen for their originality and command of their chosen medium. Every medium is represented, from traditional oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings to glass, ceramics, photography, mixed media, sculpture and fine jewellery.

Art in the Park has gained a reputation for being one of the best run art shows in southern Ontario and features more than 175 booths. The event attracts thousands of people to the Bronte waterfront. Visitors get to meet the artists and learn about the works they have created.

Art in the Park Oakville is a one day event always held on the Civic Holiday Monday in August.

Located at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park, Bronte Road and Ontario Street Show hours 10AM - 5PM
