Congratulations - OAS Member Bev Kennedy is exhibiting in Italy

I will be in two exhibits while in Italy this summer. One is a solo show and the other a group show with both local to Pacentro artists and artists from abroad both emerging and well established in Italy.

It is anticipated that guests attending the receptions will be an international crowd
I am very excited about this!
Pacentro is a lovely historic mountain town inside the beautiful Maiella National Park in Abruzzo Italy (Madonnas family has roots here)
Pacentro is off the usual tourist grid‎ but part of the Templar Knights pilgrimage route.
It also has some hidden cave paintings (similar to the ones in Lescaux but smaller)
You can still find the odd Sheppard leaning on his crook on the roadsides.‎ And Ovid s birthplace is just down the mountain in the larger equally ancient town of Sulmona.

We love to celebrate the accomplishments of our members. All members of the OAS who have an upcoming exhibition or show or been recognized for their artistic accomplishments are invited to submit to the members lounge and to the monthly At a Glance E-bulletin. Commission Exchange: Every now and then we at the Oakville Art Society receive requests from the public for an artist to do a commission. If you are open to such a request, please take a minute to fill out our new commission exchange Form (below) It will allow us to keep a list of artists accepting commissions, and to match you up with a potential customer when the opportunity arises. Thank you!
